Founded in 1925, Bang & Olufsen is a popular Danish technology company. Whilst on exchange at The Danish Academy of Design, two other students and I created a visual campaign for the Beoplay E8, Bang & Olufsen’s first truly wireless earphone.

Based on the wireless nature of the earphone, we developed a visual narrative that revolved around the idea of autonomy. Transparent plastic materials and organic rhythms were utilised to portray this concept, in addition to the creative practice of dance and movement. The result of these elements produced a project that clearly pushed Bang & Olufsen outside their comfort zone, envisaging a more contemporary brand language for their future.
